We welcome children to join us every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 4pm.

The  Pony Club is run by our experienced and qualified riding instructors and offers children the opportunity to learn all about horses and ponies and how to care for them in a fun environment.

The children are encouraged to work as a team as they learn how to feed, groom, tack up, and be safe around horses as well as having an introduction to horse riding.

We have a membership scheme but non members are always welcome.

Riding lessons, courses and training

Riding lessons both private and group are available at the centre.

Riding lessons with our qualified instructors

30 minutes riding lesson 10 euros,

1 hour riding lesson 20 euros

Exam training and horsemanship courses are available here at the rescue centre, ideal for anyone hoping to have a career with horses or someone who is looking to have a horse of their own.

You will learn the importance of good horse and pony care including feeding and nutrition, stable management, health and wellbeing either with or without riding.

As well as exam training we have various work experience opportunities available.

ABRS approved riding and examination centre

ABRS ( Association of British Riding Schools) tests and training is now available here at the centre. These tests are recognised worldwide and are very important for anyone wanting a career in the equestrian industry.

They give a child ( aged 10+ ) or an adult a structured programme of progressive learning to achieving their equestrian goals.

Intensive 1 or 2 week courses are also available with or without accommodation. 

If you want to experience what it is like to own your own horse or pony, then come and join us at one of our Pony Days. Held during the school holidays you be able to spend the day with your favourite pony and have fun with your friends. During the day you will learn stable management, enjoy quizzes, games and riding lessons.

Horse Days

A one day horse ownership course designed for adults who either own a horse or are considering buying a horse or pony. The day includes all aspects of horse care and stable management, with or without riding a riding lesson.

Ladies Days

Why not  get together with your friends and join us for  2 hours at the centre. Either with or without riding, you will see how the centre is run and includes a basic introduction to horses and their care. Followed by a coffee and cakes in our garden café bar it’s a great way to spend some time with your friends and get plenty of fresh air and exercise.

Birthday Parties & Special Events

For young or old, we can provide everything you need for a party or event with a difference either with or without riding. We have a beautiful garden marquee, music, games and provide hot or cold food or even a BBQ.  Please contact us to discuss your requirements for your special party.

Corporate Days

If you feel your team needs some time out of the office why not join us for a few hours of fresh air and exercise and also enjoy lunch in our garden café bar.

We will teach you the basics of riding and horse care then after lunch set you a series of team building challenges. For groups of 4 to 8 people.
