Star Chance, was spotted in a piece of rough ground very close to the centre and immediately the Rescue Centre was alerted. Within 36 hours and with the help and financial support of the public and a local business, she was rescued and brought to the centre.

As you can see she is very emaciated. Everything will be done to help her to survive which we are sure we will, however, sometimes when a horse is rescued it's impossible to know what the background is and whether there are some underlying problems. Star Chance is approximately 25 years old and we hope that we can extend her life to be a happy and healthy one.
