NapoleonRescue date 10 October 2010

Owned by gypsies in Almoradi and found tied to trees along with Nelson, Jake and Sophia with no food, no water and no shelter Napolean a mini was in a malnourished state.  When we rescued him we were overjoyed to see this little horse (aged around 10) as we were told about him a year earlier by a member of the public.  The gypsies had tied him to a cart and if he didn’t gallop as fast as they wanted him to they would bash him over the head with a lump of wood.  The gypsies were subsequently denounced but the Centre was unable to proceed against them and remove Napolean to the care of the Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre as they then moved the little horse and we were unable to locate him.  Napoleon has recently been sterilized and is doing well at the Centre where he is enjoying a happy life free from cruelty.
