 Kept permanently stabled in a livery yard, George became so bored that he started chewing his stable door. For his owners the solution to this behaviour was simple – they cut off his teeth with an angle grinder!Unbelievably, this horrific practice is not unusual, with many ‘problem’ horses being dealt with in this way.Luckily for George, he later became the much-loved pet of an English family who cared for him well. But, circumstances recently forced them to return to the UK and they could not take George with them. They tried to find him a new home, but nobody wanted a toothless horse.
