Moses was found in a field along with Spirit they were left out day and night, through the heat of the summer and the cold nights of the winter, with no shelter and very little food or human contact. They are both less than 3 years old and are undernourished. When they first came to the rescue centre, they didn’t even understand what carrots or apples were, as they had only ever been fed poor quality forage. They are now eating us out of house and home and love a carrot! At the moment they can not bear to be parted, but as they gain confidence and trust in the people around them, they will develop in to lovely happy individual horses.
THESE RESCUES AND ONGOING CARE CAN ONLY CONTINUE WITH YOUR SUPPORT
Moses went to his new home on Tuesday 30th December 2008. Moses is probably one of the luckiest horses around, as our Patrons of the Rescue Centre, John and Margaret Tingley decided to adopt him. We know that he will receive the best care possible and will be very happy in his new home. We will show you up to date photos of Moses very soon.
