‘Sociedad Equino’ is an illustration donated by Cha, a French illustrator based in Alicante, Spain. She makes French comics and has published several books in France.

Cha’s Chinese ink and watercolor illustration takes inspiration from the influence horses have on our imagination, both in the real equine world and as mythological creatures. Though she confesses she also really wanted to try drawing their rumps, because they have a strong aesthetic and graphic potential.

Five prints only are available so get in quick. All proceeds from sales will go towards buying winter hay for the Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre’s almost 100 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys.
