Watch our documentary
In 2014, VivaTV filmed a moving half-hour documentary telling the story of our rescue centre.
This professionally filmed and narrated documentary covers the incredible story of how Sue and Rod Weeding founded the Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre in 2008 after saving a young injured stallion from appalling conditions.
The film details several of our most challenging rescues and introduces the professionals on hand to look after and treat our rescued horses, including our veterinarian, horse dentist and farrier.
Our mission at the Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre is to rescue, rehabilitate and provide a lifelong sanctuary for equines in distress. In this documentary, Sue details just how challenging and costly achieving this mission can be. She reveals the trials and tribulations she and Rod have gone through to ensure the safety and good health of their rescued animals.
Sue also explains how achieving official foundation status, appointing trustees, and involving and educating young people will ensure the rescue centre will remain stable and flourish into the future.
The documentary can be watched free above or on YouTube. The DVD is also available for purchase in our charity shops and on our open days. All proceeds help us cover the hefty weekly running costs of our rescue centre.
