Volunteer with the Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre
Our foundation is staffed almost entirely by volunteers and we are always looking for passionate people who are willing to share their time, skills, enthusiasm or professional experience.
Whether you volunteer at the rescue centre, in our charity shops or help out with administration, fundraising or events management, your time will help us make a difference. See our current volunteering opportunities for information on specific positions currently open or read below for general volunteering details. If you'd like to hold a fundraising event for us, check out our handy list of ideas here.
Interested in going deeper and actually living at our rescue centre for a short time while you volunteer? Perhaps our Easy Horse Care Holiday Experience is for you.
Ready to volunteer?
Please read our volunteer's manual then fill out our online volunteer application form to get started.
(Please note: we do try and respond to every application, but sometimes we get a bit swamped in very busy times. If you haven't heard from us within two weeks, first check your junk email folder, then email volunteering@easyhorsecare.net to follow up your application.)
Why volunteer?
Volunteering your time is immensely rewarding. You will help give our rescued equines a second chance at life while also having fun, meeting new people, creating new friendships, learning something new and gaining invaluable experience to enhance your resume.
Who do we need?
We need you.
We are always looking for passionate people who are willing to share their time, skills, enthusiasm or professional experience.
Age is no barrier but for safety reasons, we are unable to accept volunteers aged under 18 in our stables and fields.
Professional experience is not required as we offer on-the-job training for our volunteers. But if you have a special interest or ability, please do let us know.
Everyone can volunteer at the Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre – regardless of physical abilities, there is always something to do. Volunteering at our center can be as labor intensive or relaxed as you wish.
What kinds of volunteering opportunities are available?
