Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre

Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate abused, neglected and abandoned horses, ponies and donkeys, while campaigning for the better treatment of animals across Spain. We are a no-kill foundation and provide each rescued animal with a safe and loving sanctuary – either here at our centre or via rehoming – for the rest of their lives.

IES Carrus Visit Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre

This month we have had several educational visits from the pupils of IES CARRUS in Elche. They visited the centre in Rojales, to meet some of our rescued residents and get an understanding of what the aims of the rescue centre are and all the things that we have to consider when running the Centre. From raising money for food, water, vets bills to feeding the horses and cleaning up after them.

The pupils enjoyed meeting Dexter, Dallas, and the others and saw just how well they are doing since their rescues. Some of the pupils also got to work mucking out and feed some of the horses.

It was real pleasure to have such well-behaved children at the rescue centre; they are a credit to the IES Carrus. We look forward to seeing more pupils over the next few weeks when they will be visiting us. We would also like to thank all the pupils of IES Carrus for all their fundraising events to help us raise some much needed funds towards a new tractor.
We would love to take this opportunity to invite pupils from other schools in the area to come to visit our Rescue Centre. If your school, class or club wish to visit the rescue centre please contact us as we are currently taking provisional bookings for the forthcoming year. We will be offering afternoons tours, to schools and other organisations. We can provide lunch facilities for packed lunches and we also have a snack bar.

All that we ask in return is that the children enjoy their day and hopefully take back with them a new love and respect for the animals around them. As we feel that to educate the young on how to behave towards animals at a young age turns them into well rounded individuals in later life. We look forward to hearing for you.
