It’s every little girls dream to own a pony and every Fathers dream to buy her one. In this case Luna (supposedly only 16 years old) was bought for a 4 year old little girl, where no one in the family had any horse care or management experience. Although not abused, through ignorance, Luna didn’t receive the time and care that any horse, especially an older one needs.
Luna’s owner was considering having her put down, but thankfully decided to call us first.

Luna is actually around 28 years old and will need a special diet, supplements, pain killers and lots of tender loving care to help her enjoy her life to the full. So please Mums and Dads, think very carefully before being sold that dream pony.
